Today, many people all over the world use some form of a computer every day. Having a general understanding of computers can help you function in today's world, and it can prevent you from getting left behind.

As a department and a team we offer a wide range of experience. With backgrounds and qualifications in Networking, Information Management, Mathematics, Cyber Forensics, Recruitment and many more, we are very well placed to evoke passion and enthusiasm in the subject.
In KS3 you will study a variety of topics including your more traditional areas such as spreadsheets, databases and desktop publishing. You will learn how to code in different languages and environments such as HTML and Python. Current and up to date technologies are examined such as mobile app development and game design.
In KS4 you will have the option of choosing to extend your study by choosing GCSE Computer Science. You can find out more about this as a guided choice option by taking a look at the relevant page on the subject cloud.
