February 29, 2024 - Quarterfinals @ St. Johnsbury - The season ended for the Comets as they fell to the (2) St. Johnsbury Hilltoppers in the quarterfinals. BFA was plagued all game with ice-cold shooting, got down early and just couldn't find a way to get a sustained rally going.
February 26, 2024 - Playdowns vs Burr & Burton - The Comets came out flying and quickly seized a double-digit lead in the first quarter before the Bulldogs chipped away and made an exciting end of the 40 - 36 win. With the victory, BFA advances to the quarterfinal round and will play at St. Johnsbury on Thursday, February 29 for a spot in the final four at Patrick Gym.
February 25, 2024 - Pairings Announced - The #7 Comets will host #10 Burr & Burton Bulldogs on Monday, February 26 at 7:00.
February 22, 2024 @ Essex - In the season finale, the Comets traveled to Essex and used their outstanding team defense to steal the road victory, 45 - 40, as they try to secure a home game in the first round of the upcoming playoffs. (11 - 9)
February 19, 2024 vs CVU - BFA honored seniors: Ruby Dasaro, Tessa Sweeney, Alyssa Boudreau, Shelby Lawrence, and Lauryn Johnson prior to tip-off and CVU took advantage of the emotional night to jump out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter. The Comets tried to claw their way back into the game, but the ball just didn't bounce in their favor as they suffered the 38 - 55 loss. (10 - 9)
February 12, 2024 @ St. Johnsbury - The long trip to St. Johnsbury proves to be a tough one for the Comets as they struggled to find their shooting and fall to the Hilltoppers, 35 - 71. (10 - 8)
February 12, 2024 vs BHS - After a tightly contested first half, BFA goes cold from the field and quickly goes down by double-digits as the Comets suffer the 34 - 57 loss. (10 - 7)
February 10, 2024 @ Beekmantown - The Comets take the trip across the lake and come out on fire against the overmatched Eagles as they soar to the 69 - 42 win. (10 - 6)
February 8, 2024 @ Rice - After weathering a three-point barrage by the Green Knights, the Comets settled in and used a total team game to pull away en route the 55 - 32 victory. (9 - 6)
February 5, 2024 @ MMU - The Comets made the trip to MMU to take on the Cougars in what proved to be an exciting and hard fought contest between the two metro division foes. The lead changed many times before BFA was forced to foul down the stretch. The Cougars hit their free-throws and the Comets dropped the 55 - 61 decision. (8 - 6)
February 2, 2024 vs SBHS - After a solid start, jumping out to a 12 - 3 lead, the Comets went ice cold as the Wolves pulled ahead by six just minutes into the second half. After a three-pointer finally dropped, the Comets caught fire and earned the 54 - 39 win. (8 - 5)
January 30, 2024 vs Essex - The Comets used their fastbreak and swarming defense to race to a 15 - 0 lead, but the Hornets stormed back to briefly pull in front in the second half. However, BFA was not to be denied as they regained their shooting touch to seal the 53 - 41 victory. (7 - 5)
January 26, 2024 @ CVU - The temperature outside might have been warm for January, but the Comets shooting was frigid from the start as they fell to the Redhawks 25 - 57. (6 - 5)
January 23, 2024 vs St. Johnsbury - In a tight game for most of the game, the Hilltoppers built an 11-point lead before the Comets came roaring back and tied it at the buzzer to send the game in OT before eventually dropping the, 57 - 63, contest. (6 - 4)
January 19, 2024 vs BHS @ UVM - In an exciting nip and tuck battle, filled with big shots and plays on both sides, the Comets fell to BHS, 52 - 55, as the Seahorses hit a late three-pointer and BFA couldn't get their tying attempts to fall. (6 - 3)
January 15, 2024 vs Rice - After a slow start for both teams, the Comets ramped it up and used a smothering defense to dominate the Green Knights for the win, 56 - 24. (6 - 2)
January 12, 2024 vs MMU - The Comets splashed 3s from everywhere as they built a 17-point lead before a late surge by MMU made for a tense end of the 55 - 48 win over the previously undefeated Cougars. (5 - 2)
January 9, 2024 @ SBHS - At South Burlington, the Comets use a total team effort and solid defense to secure the, 54 - 40, victory over the Wolves. (4 - 2)
January 6, 2024 vs Beekmantown - Down by two at the half, the Comets come out on fire in the 3rd quarter to take a double-digit lead. Although Beekmantown was able to pull within six points in the 4th quarter, the Comets made enough free-throws down the stretch to secure the 43 - 35 victory. (3 - 2)
January 3, 2024 vs MVU - A blazing start to 2024 for the Comets as they fly out of the gates to an 18 - 3 first quarter lead and never look back en route to the 58 - 20 win over the visiting T-Birds. (2 - 2)
December 29, 2023 @ Middlebury - The Comets take the trip down Route 7 to Middlebury and play their best offensive game of the season to date as they run away with the 54 - 36 victory. (1 - 2)
December 22, 2023 vs Rutland - The Comets suffered through a tough shooting night and relied on their defense and energy to keep the game close before falling to Rutland, 39 - 48. (0 - 2)
December 15, 2023 @ NCU - In a nip and tuck battle throughout, the Comets fell down by nine points before rallying in the last three minutes, but ultimately dropped the 41 - 43 season opener to the Falcons. (0 - 1)
