- Encourage your child to play
- Practice independence in dressing, undressing, potty training, and small jobs around the house
- Allow no more than 2 hours of screen time per day (TV, video games, iPad/computer)
- Send your child to bed by 8 PM.
- Engage in conversation daily with your child about school, food, toys, and friends.
- Read daily with your child.
- Ask your child questions (who, what, when, where, why, and how)
- Be aware of your child's feelings and help them identify why they feel that way.
