The meeting will cover what it means to be a Title 1 school, what purchases we have made with Title 1 funds, how your child benefits from Title 1 funds and how you can be involved with our Title 1 plan.

School Days
Dear Families,
Here are the arrival and dismissal times for the 2022-23 school year. For student safety, please note students cannot be dropped off before 8:20 a.m. as there will be no playground supervision. Students are not allowed to play on the playground before or after school until supervised by a parent or guardian. Per Manchester School District Policy, dogs of any size are not allowed on school property during school hours (no matter how small, cute or sweet your dog is please do not bring your dog on school property. (MSD policy for the safety of all our children)
Arrival and Dismissal Times:
Teacher Arrival: 8:15 a.m.
Student Arrival: 8:20 a.m.
Instruction Begins: 8:25 a.m. *This is when a student is considered late for school (Tardy)
*When a student arrives late (after 8:25 a.m.) he/she will need to stop at the main office to be marked Tardy and will also need a Tardy slip to bring to the classroom teacher.
Student Dismissal: 2.50 p.m.
Teacher Dismissal: 3:00 p.m.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. The staff and I are very excited about the start of school and are truly happy to see everyone back from summer break, along with new faces.
Please read the following information and make a note of these important dates.
Important Dates:
“Meet and Greet”: Thursday, September 1st 1:30 -2:30 p.m. Please come meet your child’s teacher @ 1:30 -2:30 p.m. The teacher is excited to meet you and her new student and will also provide you with information that is directly related to your child’s class. This information will go home with your child if you are unable to attend.
First Day of School: September 6th, grades K-4 *Refer to handout in the packet for additional information
Open House: There will be an Open House on Wednesday, September 14th (6 -7 p.m.)
Free & Reduced Lunch Application
Update: Free and Reduced Breakfast/Lunch forms must be completed by parent in order to receive free or reduced lunch during the school year, if your family qualifies. It will no longer be provided to the entire school like the last two years.
Want a jump on applying for Free and Reduced Breakfast/Lunch before the hustle and bustle of the start of the school year? You can do it online! There is a home language option as well. *Please consider making time to complete this asap. Free and Reduced breakfast/lunches will not be provided to the entire school but only to those who qualify for Free and Reduced breakfast/lunch. The only way to qualify is to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Form.

Registration is now open for new students for the 2022-23 school year, including kindergarten. Students must be 5 by Sept. 30 in order to register for kindergarten. You can find full information on registration, including what materials you'll need for the process, at https://www.mansd.org/registration.

For the safety of your child, any changes to his/her dismissal need to be in writing to the teacher.
Don't forget to call 624-6321 to report your child absent. Please state first and last name, teacher name and the reason why your child is absent from school.

West Side Library
There are so many wonderful programs and opportunities at the West Side Library!
Check out the flyers:
We are open Monday through Friday;
Mondays-Thursdays we are open in the afternoon from 12:30-5:30
Fridays, we are open 9:30-1:30.
We will have lots of programs for the kids and teen after school as well as a morning story time on Fridays.
