Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to take this time to thank you for all of your help in getting the school year off to a

successful start. Students and staff alike are already becoming comfortable with the routines of

school life, and the classrooms are filled with activity and learning. At this time, I would also like to

review some information on visitor/volunteer procedures. We are delighted to have the benefit of

many individuals who are very generous with their time and talents, and we feel this information

will be helpful so that all are aware of what to expect this school year.

Visitor/Volunteer Procedures : . All visitors/volunteers must report directly to the office to sign in with Mrs. Allen.

. All visitors/volunteers will receive a visitor's badge to wear for the duration of their visit.

. All visitors/volunteers who are volunteering in a class must have a pre-arranged

appointment with the classroom teacher,

. Visitors/volunteers wishing to meet with a classroom teacher to discuss a concern must

make an appointment with the classroom teacher to meet outside of instructional time.

. All visitors must sign out at the office and return their badge before leaving the building.

By following these procedures we will all help make our school a safe environment that also

respects student confidentiality and instructional time. Listed below is the District's Poliey that we

will be following. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
