City Year

City Year Corps Members are young adults who serve as tutors, mentors and role models for our students. These Corps Members come from across the country to spend 10 months serving a community and receiving leadership development training. CMs have a variety of interests, backgrounds, and bring rich diversity to the Manchester community. In school, they offer academic support as well as community building for the whole school. They serve with City Year for the school year, getting to school around 7:45am and spending the day helping students through afterschool. Corps members help students in four areas; literacy, math, attendance, and behavior. The Corps Member at GP work in third and fourth grade classrooms. Would you like to learn more?
