School Goals

BEECH STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

GOALS 2022 - 2025

1. Over the next three years at Beech Street School, the number of students who meet or exceed grade-level standard in reading and mathematics on state and local assessments will increase by 7% each year for a total of 21% gain in schoolwide proficiency.

2. Over the next three years, Beech Street Elementary School staff will strengthen the consistency and rigor of core instruction for all students by implementing best practices from professional development in core subjects, participating professional learning communities [PLCs], and coaching cycles, that will be measured by qualitative data (PLC agendas, CALL survey, and instructional walkthroughs.

3. Over the next three years, Beech Street Elementary School staff will improve strategies for engaging families to access and participate in their children's learning by developing culturally proficient communication systems to increase parent and community involvement as evidenced by attendance at school events, increased academic outcomes, and surveys (including CALL).
