Wisconsin Global Education Achievement Certificate (GEAC)

Global competence is the capacity and disposition to understand and act on issues of global significance. Globally competent individuals are aware, curious, and interested in learning about the world and how it works.
The Wisconsin Global Education Achievement Certificate (GEAC) supports education for global competence with a designation of Wisconsin Global Scholar. Global scholars are students who have successfully completed the requirements in this program. The MPSD application and adoption of the GEAC was approved by the DPI May 2014.
Lincoln High School students completing the Global Scholars Program will receive the Wisconsin Global Education Achievement Certificate (issued by the DPI), an entry on their transcript denoting successful completion of the program, and cord for graduation.
