Mrs. Forestiere's Class

Dear GATEr student,

My name is Mrs. Forestiere and I am excited to be your third grade teacher this year. I hope you had a great summer and are ready to begin the adventure of third grade. If this is your first year attending Manchester G.A.T.E., we welcome you and can’t wait to get to know you. If you are a continuing GATEr, welcome back! Manchester G.A.T.E. is a place like no other school in Fresno and I am sure that you will enjoy every day!

My goal as your teacher is to help you grow and learn in all areas of life. We will challenge our minds by studying novels, building models and creating presentations of our learning. We will also learn how to be better partners, teammates and leaders. Each day will require hard work, but will have lots of fun as well!

As the school year is quickly approaching, I am sure school supplies are being purchased. I will provide most of the initial supplies for the classroom. However, I do request that you have the basic school supplies at home in order to complete homework and the many fun projects we complete throughout the year. The other requested supplies include an updated school computer and earbuds.
