If you have completed 25, 50 or 100 blog posts in one year, claim your badge for your blog

How to earn your badges:
1. If your teacher sees you displaying RISE Values, they can award you a RISE Badge.
2. To collect the Cybersmart Badges, you must complete the Self Assessment form for each Cybersmart Module. Your teacher can award the Cybersmart Badge after completion of each Module.
3. If you complete 25, 50 or 100 blog posts in a single year, you are entitled to a blog achievement badge. Ask your teacher to send this badge to you.
How to collect your badges:
1. If you are entitled to a badge, your teacher will fill out your details on the correct spreadsheet.
2. Your teacher will then email you your badge image and a link to the spreadsheet.
3. Your badges will appear on the Badges page, on your school Blog. Follow the instructions below to create the blogpost.
If there is no spreadsheet link, your badge is not valid.
4. If the Badges page is missing from your Blog, please fill in the form to get it included.
How to create your badges blog post:
1. Upload the badge image from your email to your Drive.
2. Create a new blog post.
3. Insert your badge image into the post, from your Drive.
4. Link the spreadsheet url (that your teacher included in the email) to the badge image. If there is no spreadsheet link, your badge is not valid.
(To attach the spreadsheet link to the image - Switch to the html tab and find the html in line 2 that starts with <a href="https://”.... Remove all text between the “ and “ . Paste the link for the spreadsheet between the “ and “. This will place a link on the image that links to the spreadsheet.)
5. Make sure you use the 'Badges' label to label the post, so that your badge appears on your Badges page.
6. If you are insert a RISE badge, write a sentence or two about what you got it for.

How Teachers access badges and spreadsheets:
1. To award a badge, search your Drive for the Shared Folder 'Tamaki College Badges'. Inside are two subfolders - 'Badge images' and 'Badge spreadsheets'. These will be in Shared With Me. You can drag the folders into your Drive.
2. Open the appropriate spreadsheet and enter the details for the student.
3. Email both the badge image and the spreadsheet link to the student.
