We're hiring! Axiom is looking for a part-time STEM Guide to help provide fun out of school STEM activities to youth age 10-18 in Washington County.
This position is year-round, part-time (8-10 hours/week) with the primary responsibility of coordinating STEM programs for youth ages 10-18 in the greater Machias area and beyond.
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics and/or science, content or education. The ideal candidate possesses good communication and organizational skills, basic computer skills, be able to work as part of a team, be a self-starter. Some travel throughout Washington County is required, so applicants need a reliable vehicle. Mileage is paid on these trips.
