Fort Johnson Summer Undergraduate Research Program

National Science Foundation-supported Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program: "Marine Organismal Health: Resilience and Response to Environmental Change"

The Fort Johnson Summer Undergraduate Research Program is a ten week internship combining independent research with activities to promote career development and science communication skills. Participants will investigate diverse topics on the health of marine organisms at the individual, population, community, and species levels, using a wide variety of laboratory and field techniques. Up to 10 fellowships are awarded each year through the cooperative efforts of the 5 marine institutions at Fort Johnson and supported by funds from the National Science Foundation and the College of Charleston School of Sciences and Mathematics.
