Tuition Reimbursement Guidelines
Look for info from Dr. Barger about this!
1. Tuition reimbursement applications must be received by April 1st for classes taken the previous summer through the spring semester.
2. Classes must be graduate-level courses related to a teaching assignment or certification renewal.
3. Teachers may submit the reimbursement form before completing a class and then turn in the remainder of the paperwork when the class is finished.
4. A maximum of 3 credit hours per year per teacher may be paid. The amount of the reimbursement is based upon the per credit hour cost at the University of Missouri–Columbia and the local funds available.
Required Documentation
2. Proof of Payment – a copy of the receipt or canceled check
3. Documentation of Successful Completion of Coursework
Copy of grade card
If the class is graded as pass/fail, a letter from the instructor/school confirming your passing status
4. Purchase Order (made out to you): Include the class, institution, and semester when you took the course
Notes:
You may submit a request for reimbursement with the first two items and PDC will hold for the other items. Without all of the above items reimbursement cannot be approved.
Reimbursements will not be considered until June.
Those to receive reimbursements will receive a prorated amount per hour, taking into consideration the number of faculty members asking for reimbursement and the availability of funds.
