You can earn up to 20 extra credit points - 10 points for each day that you volunteer.
To receive full credit for extra credit, students must submit a 1 page summary of their experience. All volunteer opportunities except Golden Gate Parks Conservancy, CCSF native plant garden need to be approved by the instructor. These are some suggestions:
- Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy CCSF
- CCSF native plant garden
- Nature in the City
- Save the Bay San Francisco
- San Francisco Natural Areas
- Presidio volunteer
- Bay Nature
- Naturalist led walks with Marin Open Space. Submit 1 page summary of your experience.
