The school is located in Yungan Village, Xinwu District, about 1.5 kilometers away from Yong'an Fishing Port. The residents mainly focus on agriculture, fishery and leisure agriculture, and the folk customs are simple.

Yungan was formerly known as Kantoucuo, and the chairman Zhou Zhirou suggested that it be renamed Yongan during his inspection. The name of Yongan started. In 1949, when the government implemented the nine-year national education policy, the "Yong'an Junior High School" was established under the enthusiastic efforts of local people to cooperate with the donation of land. There were 307 students at the beginning, and they took classes in Yong'an Elementary School. On October 22, Fang officially moved to its current location. Forty-five years of cold and summer, facing the dawn and sunset, experienced Mr. Zhou Yaojin, Mr. Peng Decai, Mr. Gong Chengyi, Mr. Huang Qingyang, Mr. Weng Xianyi, Mr. Jian Fuzhu, Mr. Zhang Yonglin, Ms. Li Liqing, Mr. Zeng Zengfu, Mr. Liu Changming, Ms. Zeng Sufeng, Ms. Zhang Zhufen, Ms. Chen Lijuan, Ms. Fan Jinghua, Mr. Huang Jinzeng and other fifteen principals have worked together to devote themselves to the development of school affairs, continue to innovate and make achievements, and operate and rebuild, which is today's majestic appearance.

The current principal Ku Ruyu was appointed to take over the school on August 1, 2018, as the sixteenth principal. He still adheres to the ambition of "the school is not big because it can shine" and continue to work with all teachers and students. Yu Han contains the feelings of loving the school and loving the hometown in order to create an excellent style of study. There are currently nine classes with 158 students. The students are healthy, lively, and malleable; the team of teachers is strong, serious and responsible, and the administrative staff fully cooperate; and actively promote scientific and technological teaching to improve the information literacy of the school's teaching staff.
