Welcome Back
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year at Lenape Valley Regional High School! My name is Peter Scholl, and I am excited to be your child’s mathematics teacher this year. I look forward to building a positive, productive classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and confident in their ability to learn mathematics.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Science, and Technology from Kean University. After graduation, I continued my education at Kean University, earning a master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum and obtaining my New Jersey teaching certification. Most recently, I earned my Supervisor Certification from Centenary University.
This will be my thirteenth year teaching mathematics and my ninth year at Lenape Valley. It is a privilege to work with the students in our community, and I am honored to have the opportunity to teach your child this year.
I hold high expectations for myself and for every student in my classroom. To create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment, I have developed classroom expectations that students will be expected to follow. These expectations are designed to help students take responsibility for their choices, contribute positively to our classroom community, and develop habits that will serve them well beyond high school. Please take a few moments to review these expectations with your child.
I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and to working together to support your child’s success. I hope to meet you at Back-to-School Night. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns throughout the school year.
