Welcome Back
Welcome to a new school year at Lenape Valley Regional High School. My name is Peter Scholl and I am very excited to be your child’s Mathematics teacher this year. Below I have included some information about myself as well as some important information about my classroom expectations, policies, and procedures.
I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics, Science, and Technology at Kean University. Immediately following my graduation, I continued my education at Kean which led to me receiving my Masters in Instruction and Curriculum and obtaining my New Jersey Teachers Certificate. This will be my nineth year of teaching Mathematics, however it is only my sixth year at Lenape Valley. I am thrilled and honored to be teaching your child in Math this year.
I have high expectations for myself and for every child in my class. In order to create a safe and positive classroom environment I have created some classroom expectations which I will hold all of my students accountable for. These expectations are meant to help your child to be responsible for their own actions and prepare them for the real world ahead of them. Please take a moment to read and review them with your child under the appropriate math class.
Once again, I am extremely excited to for this school year and look forward to working with your child. I hope to meet you at Back to School Night: Thursday, September 7th.
