Good Afternoon. We are just about at the end of second term. Second semester will end on Friday, January 17, 2020. We had many wonderful things happen here at LHS in 2019. We had a fantastic fall sport season, are winter season is in full swing, and we had fantastic performances by the music and drama programs. Many students have already been accepted into colleges. We had numerous successful fund raisers and many students are involved in extracurricular activities.
Report cards will be able to be viewed on PowerSchool for second term grades the week of January 27th.
January 31st is the final day for parents to purchase PERSONALIZED yearbooks online. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that will be Yearbooks available in June if you don't pre-order one by February 28.

Mark your calendar! On Thursday April 16, 2020, the Lunenburg Middle and High School Art Departments will be hosting a Community Arts night graciously funded by the PTO. This free family event is open to all community members and will run from 5-8 at LMHS- more information to follow!
Many seniors have still not paid for their caps and gown. If you have not paid yet, please send it in by the end of the week. The check should be made payable to "University Cap and Gown" in the amount of $26.75. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Cooney tcooney@lunenburgonline.com
Next week, 2 of our band members are participating in the Central District Senior High Festival Concert Band, after a successful audition back in November. Calliope Mendoza and Harrison Taylor will be part of a 90-piece band and perform at Mechanics' Hall in Worcester on Saturday, January 18th.

Please be aware that Naviance is in the process of updating their security system. Students and parents will be prompted to reset their password to the new requirements the next time they log in. Passwords must be at least 10 characters in length. The username may not be part of the password. Passwords may not include more than 2 identical characters in a row. Commonly used passwords, simple patterns, and common names will not be accepted. Passwords must always be kept private and stored securely.
LUNCH with Former LHS Students:
Interested in learning more about the college application process, how to pick the right school, time management in high school and college and more…Please join former LHS students who are now attending UNH, UMass Amherst, and Fitchburg State for a Q & A. This event will take place during first and second lunch on Wednesday, Jan 15th in the MS project room.
Student council is planning their annual trip to the State Student Council Conference that takes place in Hyannis.
