PLEASE FILL OUT A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH STUDENT IN YOUR FAMILY.

ALL FAMILIES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS TRANSPORTATION FORM WITH THE EXCEPTION OF:

Bus Fee Payments

A continuation of the bus fee was voted & approved at the 4-1-26 School Committee meeting for the 2026/2027 school year. Below are the payment guidelines and fee structure:

Payment Guidelines

Grades K-6 : 0-1.99 miles are charged

Grades K-6 : 2 or more miles no charge

Grades 7-12 : all students charged

Fee Structure

$180 Families with 1 student

$50 Families with 1 student that qualify for a reduced fee (by submitting a free/reduapplication)

$270 Families with 2 or more students

$75 Families with 2 or more students that qualify for a reduced fee (by submitting an application)

Free - Families that have submitted an application and qualify

NEW CEP Fee Reductions Information

Beginning school year 2026 - 2027 Lunenburg Public Schools will implement the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

Some families have completed meal benefit applications from previous school years and submitted them. We will not be processing meal benefit applications anymore, please don't submit them.

What does this mean for families?

We understand that some families may have questions about how this change affects eligibility for other school related fee reductions or waivers. In the past, meal benefit status was used to help determine whether a family qualified for certain reductions or waivers.

Lunenburg Public Schools will continue to conduct direct certification to identify families who may qualify for benefits. Families identified through direct certification will be notified by U.S. mail. Remember to complete those sharing information forms. Sharing Information Form

Families that do not check the third box on the Sharing Information Form for Transportation fees, will not be considered for a free or reduced fee for bussing.

If you believe your family may qualify for reduced or waived school-related fees but have not received a direct certification letter, please contact the Food Service Director.

Families that have qualified by application in the past:

An Alternative Income Form is available for families who may qualify through the income eligibility process. The form is available in the Districts Central Office.

Please reach out to the Central Office with any questions or if you need assistance completing the form.

Bus Fee Waiver

Note: Please do not complete and submit this waiver if you will be submitting a free/reduced application. This waiver form for fees should only be submitted if you feel your family has certain special circumstances or a hardship. A link to complete the online waiver is below:

All payments are due by June 1, 2026 There is a page available on RevTrak for bus fees. Please click the link if you would like to pay online: https://lunenburg.revtrak.net/r2#/v/bus-fees If you would like to pay via check, please make it out to "Town of Lunenburg" and mail to: Superintendent's Office, 129 Northfield Rd, Lunenburg, MA 01462. ATTN: BUS FEE If we cannot verify that payment has been made by June 1st, your child (ren's) name(s) will not be submitted on the roster we provide to the bus company for transportation.

THE DEADLINE DATE TO SUBMIT THIS FORM IS MAY 1, 2026. FAILURE TO SUBMIT THIS TRANSPORTATION FORM BY THE DEADLINE WILL RESULT IN THE STUDENT BEING PLACED ON A WAITING LIST IN ORDER OF RECEIPT FOR UP TO 60 DAYS.
