Cooking & Crafts Club

Sponsor: Heather Rairigh

Meets in the FACS classroom: A11A

Cooking and Crafts club teaches a variety of cooking skills as well as sewing and crafts. Students will be shown the correct way to use many different tools in class. Tools vary based on the recipe or project. Students should always practice safety with all tools as demonstrated. The most common tools used in class are kitchen utensils including knives, craft tools including needles, rubber cement, scissors, and hot glue.

By teaching the proper and safe way to use a variety of tools, I believe students can have more control in the creation of their recipes & crafts; therefore it will be more meaningful.
