To create a working bibliography (that can be exported as a perfectly formatted Works Cited page in Google Docs) use NoodleTools:

Sign in to NoodleTools account using your Personal ID and Password
If it asks you to revalidate, enter: noodletools1
If you didn’t previously create an account, click “Register” and sign in to our Lenape account with:
- school username: lenapemediacenter
- school password: noodletools1
Click +New project
Check off “MLA” and “Advanced”
Click on “SOURCES” tab
Create citations for all your sources
To add citations from sources in our databases & eBooks (which already give you the full citation) you can either export the citation directly to Noodletools or select the option for: Quick cite: Copy & paste a citation

When all of your sources are added in Noodletools, export your sources as a perfectly formatted Works Cited page
in your source list, click on PRINT/EXPORT TO GOOGLE DOCS.
This will export your list to a google document. If sharing this document, you will need to make the share settings public (or anyone at LRHSD can view) under advanced settings (please reach out to Ms. Fauver if you have any questions)
DATABASE Citation directions
eBooks, Student Resources, SIRS, Points of View (and all Gale & Infobase Databases)
These databases will allow you to export the citation directly to Noodletools
From the article, click on CITE
You may need to highlight/select the citation
Click to EXPORT
Select NOODLETOOLS to export
A new tab will appear asking you to confirm that you want to import the citation. Click to IMPORT into your Noodletools
Refresh your Noodletools source page and you should see the citation in your list
For any databases/articles that do not allow you to export the citation, you will need to fill out the form in Noodletools:
Click on NEW SOURCE
Click on DATABASE
Select Type of Source (journal, magazine, newspaper, etc)
Two options:
Either click on "Copy and Paste a Citation" and paste the citation in the box OR
Fill out as much as you can on form including:
Name of database
Date of access (can click today to autofill)
Author
Article title
Pages
Name of journal (or newspaper, eBook, etc.)
Volume/Issue
Publication date
Click SAVE
WEBSITE Citation Directions
Citing WEBSITES (any websites you use for information must be cited) in NOODLE TOOLS
Click on NEW SOURCE
Select WEBSITE -- WEBPAGE
Fill out:
URL from your website (copy and paste)
Date Accessed (click TODAY to automatically fill in today’s date)
WEBPAGE title (this is the name of the specific page you are on …. most likely, the name of your topic)
WEBSITE title (this is the name of the entire site where you are finding information)
Any additional information you can find
THEN CLICK SAVE to save the citation to your Noodletools list
IMAGE Citation Directions
Citing Digital Images in NOODLE TOOLS
Click on NEW SOURCE
Select WEBSITE -- PHOTO OR IMAGE (born digital)
Fill out:
Name of container website where image is found (NOT GOOGLE…actual website)
URL from your website (copy and paste)
Date Accessed (click TODAY to automatically fill in today’s date)
Type of image (select IMAGE from drop-down menu)
Title of image (provide a descriptive title)
Any additional information you can find
THEN CLICK SAVE to save the citation to your Noodletools list
VIDEO Citation directions
Click on NEW SOURCE
Select WEBSITE -- VIDEO CLIP (online)
Fill out:
URL for the video (copy and paste)
Date of publication (the “posted” date on You Tube)
Date Accessed (click TODAY to automatically fill in today’s date)
TITLE of VIDEO (copy this directly from You Tube)
Name of Site (put You Tube if you used You Tube for your video)
Posted by (if a company or group, put this in Last Name)
Any additional information you can find
THEN CLICK SAVE to save the citation to your Noodletools list
