I have been teaching Kindergarten for 25 years.  I taught at Carencro Heights for 12 years before moving to Martial Billeaud Elementary.  I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten!  I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Nicholls State University.  I am also a Google Certified Educator and an Apple Certfied Teacher.  I have also earned the Mentor Teacher Distinction, which means that I can mentor pre-service teachers.  I was selected as Martial Billeaud's first Teacher of the Year, and I am Lafayette Parish's 2021 Elementary Teacher of the Year.

 I am married to my husband Scott who teaches Band at Comeaux High School  We have three big dogs.  In my spare time, I love to run (especially at Disney World), work out, read, and cook. My favorite color is purple, and my favorite snacks are popcorn with a Diet Coke!
