Principal's Message

My name is Renee C. White and I am the principal of Edward J. Sam Accelerated School of Lafayette.  I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the leader of such an amazing school filled with phenomenal students.  I do not take this privilege lightly and will continue to follow in the footsteps of Mrs. Duhon and move the school forward in a positive way.  

This is my 24th year in education and I do not take any of my experience for granted.  I feel that I have been appointed as the principal of E. J. Sam for a time such as this.  I love students and watching them become the best versions of themselves.   I will do everything in my power to ensure that they have a peaceful environment to learn.  I will love your child(ren) like I love my own.  

The staff of   E. J. Sam are truly invested in the growth and success of our children in Lafayette Parish.  We are committed to offering support and guidance to our students and parents as we work to help our kids experience their greatest potential and success.  We are eager to find creative methods and strategies to help our students who are looking for a smaller, more personal environment in which to work.   If your student is interested in learning through Edgenuity, we welcome them with open arms to our school.
