Principal's Message

My name is Renee C. White, and I serve as the principal of Edward J. Sam Accelerated School of Lafayette. I am proud to be a resident of Lafayette Parish and a graduate of Lafayette Parish Public Schools. I have a strong belief in the value of our educational institutions and am dedicated to ensuring that your children are welcomed into a positive learning environment.

This marks my 26th year in the field of education, and I have cherished every moment. This year, my focus is on making sure that the four Core Values of our school district are reflected in our campus activities. These values include: Safety, Culture, Growth, and Opportunity. I am devoted to maintaining a safe atmosphere for our students, cultivating a vibrant school culture, creating opportunities for students to lead, collaborate, and make contributions, and supporting their personal and academic growth.

We are committed to providing guidance and assistance to both our students and parents as we strive to help our children reach their fullest potential and achieve success. We are enthusiastic about discovering innovative approaches and strategies for students who thrive in a smaller, more personalized learning environment.
