Kindergarten: -Elements of Art- Various Media

     Learning Goals:  Students will be learning about the elements of art while exploring different techniques and media.  The elements of art are; color, shape, texture, value, space, line and form.

1st grade:  Mad Scientists- Watercolor/Markers

     Learning Goals:  Introduction to portrait drawing. Demonstrate knowledge of the watercolor technique we are using.

2nd grade:  Hot Air Balloon- Marker/Tissue Paper

     Learning Goals:  Create a hot air balloon using shapes and lines.

3rd grade:  Landscapes- Markers/Colored Pencils

     Learning Goals: Students will have an introduction to perspective drawing and use this knowledge in their art.

4th grade: 3D Pencils- Sculpture using Plastercraft

 Learning Goals:  Students will create a project that demonstrates knowledge of sculptures that utilize an armature for construction. 

5th grade: Student Choice- Clay

     Learning Goals: Use clay building techniques to create a 3 dimensional project.
