Ms. Michelle Becker

B.A. Exercise Physiology and Leisure Science - Adams State University - Alamosa, CO.

M.Ed Counseling - University of Phoenix

I am a Colorado native who grew up in Arvada. I completed my student teaching at Arapahoe High School under an amazing P.E.department and am so excited to be back in Littleton Public Schools! I absolutely love teaching middle school students the value of leading a healthy and physical lifestyle! This is my 7th year at Powell and I have loved every minute of it so far!

I am a mom of 3 amazing kids, who keep me very busy, keep me laughing and on my toes. I love traveling, going to the movies, being physically active, and hanging out with my family and friends.

"We know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong, and that hardy spirits and tough minds usually inhabit sound bodies."

Mrs. Kendy Blake

My name is Kendy Blake, and I am a Colorado native. I student taught at Powell before completing my education degree and then was lucky enough to get a full time job at Powell 27 years ago. I have been NJHS Advisor, Intramural Director, PAC Representative, Technology Committee Member, and PRIDE Advisor. I enjoy seeing my students outside of the classroom environment, so I have sponsored many clubs and coached many teams at all grade levels during my time at Powell.

Personal: I am married and have two daughters. We love spending time together as a family doing all sorts of activities from sports to music and traveling to quiet family movie nights. One of our favorite activities is spending time in the small Colorado town (Victor) where my dad was raised. The scenery is breathtaking and the family time is priceless.

Powell students who have Physical Education will be required to dress out in an appropriate, school approved Powell Physical Education uniform. The appropriate PE uniform consists of a Grey Powell Physical Education t-shirt, and Black Powell Physical Education shorts. Uniforms will be required for daily participation.

Additional shirts, shorts, and locks have been purchased and are available throughout the year. If your son/daughter needs to purchase an additional uniform and/or lock, they should bring a check or cash with them to class. Students will purchase these items directly from their PE teacher before or after class. The cost is $7.50 for shirts, $7.50 for shorts, and $5 for a lock.

Students may use last year's Powell Physical Education uniform and lock. Purchases are for students who need new uniforms and/or additional uniforms, or a lock for the 2019-2020 school year.
