The Peabody Pals Pre-Kindergarten Program is licensed by the Colorado State Department of Human Services to accept children 4 to 5 years who have missed the age cut off for kindergarten.
We offer a half-day program, 8:00-11:00 or full-day, 8:00-2:40, 2 TO 5 days per week. Students need to be four years of age by October 1, 2018, in order to participate.

We will help to prepare children for kindergarten by providing meaningful experiences in order to enhance optimal growth in social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills. We hope to provide a seamless learning experience for children who attend Peabody Elementary.
The program has been set up to promote the development of children’s self-esteem and social competence through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment. We recognize each child as an individual and address the needs of the whole child by providing a balanced curriculum, including large and small group, and individual learning opportunities led by experienced, qualified, and caring teachers. Some of the curriculum used are literature based using the CREATIVE CURRICULUM, Butterfly Park, Food Friends, and the character building Second Step program.
Parents receive regular communication through direct conversation with our Pre-K staff and director and through e-mail. In addition to this, we share a weekly newsletter. We also hold parent/teacher conferences in October and March.
Our goal is to encourage children to learn to function comfortably, cooperatively, and positively with one another as well as to develop a true love for learning.

INFORMATION NIGHT JANUARY 18, 2017 - 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
We're THRILLED to announce that we are ready to register students for the 2018-19 Peabody Pals program!
Students will need to turn 4 years of age by October 1, 2018 in order to be eligible for Pre-K.
Parents with children who will be 5 years of age by October 1, 2018 are advised to sign their students up for kindergarten.

PALS REGISTRATION, JANUARY 30, 2017
Registrations will be accepted on January 30, (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.), in the following order:
- Families living within the Peabody attendance area & families who have older children at Peabody who are optionally enrolled will be accepted first.
- Optional enrollment (in-district) and out of district families will then be added to our registration. WE ARE ANTICIPATING SOME OPENINGS FOR THESE CHILDREN.

*Tuition will be charged for 10 months, beginning with the August payment.
All materials, snacks & participation in daily specials are included in the tuition fees.
FULL DAY STUDENTS MAY BRING A LUNCH FROM HOME OR PURCHASE ONE FROM THE CAFETERIA.
$50.00 nonrefundable REGISTRATION FEE is due upon registration.
Children must turn four by October 1, 2018, in order to participate in this pre-kindergarten program.
Registration will be Tuesday, January 30th from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
We tend to fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early!

- PROOF OF RESIDENCE (property deed/rental agreement/excel bill)
- COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE

- COMPLETED INTENT TO REGISTER FORM (see below)
- A COPY OF YOUR ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORM (YOU MUST COMPLETE THE LPS ON-LINE REGISTRATION BEFORE YOUR CHILD CAN BE ENROLLED IN PEABODY PALS. YOU CAN FIND THIS FORM & INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LPS WEBSITE.)
