Course Description

enVision Math 8 was designed to provide students rich opportunities to build understanding of important new mathematical concepts and develop fluency with key skills as described in the Standards for Mathematical Content, and to gain proficiency with the habits of mind and thinking dispositions described in the Standards for Mathematical Practice. To achieve these goals, the program includes content-focused lessons, Mathematical Modeling in 3 Act tasks, and enVision™STEM projects. All three of these instructional activities are integral to helping students achieve success, and the pacing of the program reflects this.
