Things are looking a little different for our classroom. We will figure this out together!
Reading:
We will be working on Unit 4.
Writing:
Our writing unit is tied to our reading unit with ReadyGen. Writers will compose an opinion piece with a clear topic sentences, supporting reasons and examples to help clarify those reasons. Students will write opinion pieces about things that matter to them.
Math:
We will finish Unit 6 and move to Unit 7.
Science:
Students will learn about plant and animal life cycles.
Classroom Notes:
Snacks: Please make sure that your child has a healthy snack every day.
Supplies: Please make sure you check with your child about anything they are missing (especially headphones). Headphones are very important to our daily work.
Planners and Take Home Folders: Students will bring home their planners and take home folders every day. Please help them get in a routine of checking these every evening. We also ask that you initial their planner and make sure they record their reading for the night.
