About Me:

I am a native of Colorado, growing up in Greeley and graduating from Greeley West High School in 1988. From there I attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon where I played basketball for one year. I decided that I needed a change of venue and transferred to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. My two years at UPS were great, but my love for Colorado brought me back to Colorado and I finished my education at CSU, graduating in 1992 with a B.S. in Social Sciences. From there I went to work for The Linden Company, an insurance agency, where I worked for two years. My love of sports and helping others took me back to CSU where I got my teaching degree in 1994. I received my Masters of Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2008. I got my first teaching job at Loveland High School in 1995 and taught in the Business Department and coached JV basketball for two years and then became the head coach in my third year.I am married (my wife Marissa is also a teacher, at Euclid) and have two great men, Maximus and Boden (19 and 17). Max is attending University of Wyoming and Bo is a Senior at HHS. We also have twin boys, Leo and Grayson, that were born Christmas Day 2017. I love teaching and coaching basketball and was fortunate to win the state title with Heritage in 2005. My passions are all sports, family and teaching.
