Daily Chromebook Checkout Policy
All LHS students are required to bring a fully-charged laptop computer to school each day (and charger). This is either your personal laptop or a Chromebook that you have checked out for the year from the Library. While this is the expectation, we know that at times a student may not have a working laptop with them. The Library has fully-charged Chromebooks available for one-day checkout. These laptops are NOT to be brought home. When a daily-use Chromebook is not returned by the end of the school day, a cellphone will be required as collateral the NEXT time a daily-use Chromebook is requested.
The overdue fine for a daily Chromebook is $1.00 per day, to a maximum of $5.00. When a daily Chromebook is lost, the student will be assessed the replacement cost of the laptop.
It is NOT possible to print from chromebooks. There are 5 school laptops in the Library available for students to print class assignments.
