Daily Chromebook Checkout Policy

All LHS students are required to bring a fully-charged laptop computer to school each day (and charger). This is either your personal laptop or a Chromebook that you have checked out for the year from the Library. While this is the expectation, we know that at times a student may not have a working laptop with them. The Library has fully-charged Chromebooks available for one-day checkout. Students may check out a daily-use Chromebook ten times per school year. These laptops are NOT to be brought home. When a daily-use Chromebook is not returned by the end of the school day, or, if the ten-time limit has been exceeded, a cellphone will be required as collateral the NEXT time a daily-use Chromebook is requested.

The overdue fine for a daily Chromebook is $1.00 per day, to a maximum of $5.00. When a daily Chromebook is lost, the student will be assessed the replacement cost of the laptop.

It is NOT possible to print from ANY laptops. There are 8 school computers in the Library available for students to print class assignments.
