The 8th grade student must lead a project or club.
The team must have a leader and at least 2 additional members. The student must identify an opportunity, make a plan and then carry out the plan. It should be more substantial than simply being a participant in an already organized event. Projects should benefit the community, school or neighborhood. It should be more than doing a project for your family.
Multiple students may co-lead a project or club but each one needs to fill out the forms below with his or her own thoughts and have an equal and substantial part in leadership.
Most projects will occur outside of the school building. The exceptions are projects sponsored by National Junior Honor Society and Student Council.
