All parents/guardians are required to enter the building to check their child in and out of the SACC program. In order to verify who is picking up each child parents must enter the cafeteria SACC area to sign their children out. This is for the safety of the children; it is also a licensing requirement. The State of Colorado Department of Human Services mandates this process and accompanying records. Therefore, only adults may check children in or out of the SACC program.
Each individual authorized to pick up your child must have a unique PIN to identify who is picking up or dropping off the child. This PIN has been assigned for primary guardians by SchoolCare Works. This PIN should not be shared between individuals authorized to pick up. You may add any authorized person to your child’s SchoolCare Works account by going into your parent portal. After you have added any individual, they must use their unique PIN.
Students attending the before school care program will be released from the SACC Room by a SACC staff member at 7:35am (8:35 on Wednesdays) to walk to their classrooms.
Students attending the after school care program will be released from their teachers at 3:00pm. Kindergarten and First Grade will be escorted by a staff member from their hallway. Grades 2/3/4/5 will meet SACC staff in their designated area immediately following their release.
SACC staff will check students in and ensure all students are accounted for. If a student is missing, SACC staff will work with building administration to locate the missing student. (checking the bus, completing a building all call, checking with after school clubs, etc.) Parents will be contacted if the student is not immediately located. It is important that families communicate all after school schedule changes to the program manager no later than 2:00pm.
