Meet the Teacher
I was born and raised in Valdosta and have lived in South Georgia my whole life. I have one daughter, Morgan, who is a freshman at Valdosta State University this year! She is going to school to become a teacher, just like I did. I guess a love for learning and teaching just runs in our family.

I am crazy about dogs. They are cuddly and wonderful and make my life complete. I have many dogs of my own and am also active with local animal rescue organizations.

I graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2004, and I have been teaching ever since. I have been a classroom teacher in second grade for 10 years, taught Reading Recovery in first grade for 4 years, and have been teaching EIP classes for the past 2 years. I started teaching at Clyattville Elementary in 2016. I love this school and the people in it. It is a great place to be!!
