Issues After the Semester
Emergent Issues
Please note that emergent issues must be handled by or on the day and time of the Final Exam or final assignment as indicated on your course's calendar or syllabus (and not the university's academic calendar or published Final Exam schedule). If you are unable to contact the professor within this period of time, see "Everything Else," below, and know that grades can be changed.
Emergent issues are reserved exclusively for sudden illnesses experienced by either the student or the student's child. In this case,
review the "Exceptions to the Rules" within the Course Policy, and then
contact the professor.
Everything Else
Let's face it: you've had approximately fifteen weeks to handle your issues. You may certainly contact the professor but understand that emails received over the breaks are handled on the first Tuesday of January, June, and August.
Contacting university administration (deans, secretaries, etc.) to reach the professor is expressly prohibited - and will not work.
