Please note that the last day to schedule a meeting with the Professor is 5/12.
Check with the Help Desk at your university (see below). And please understand that technology issues of any kind never (automatically) excuse course policy. Click here for further information or contact me for any non-technical aspect to this issue (either after our next class or by clicking "Contact," above).
This could be because you have missed the deadline or, in the case of upload issues, your file is not in the proper format. Essays (and most other documents) must be in the PDF file format. Click here for conversion to PDF walkthroughs.
Though extensions are granted only under extraordinary circumstances, if you missed your deadline, you should schedule an appointment with me to discuss your issue.
Another reason (though far less common) is that I rescinded the assignment. Check your email or the "Announcements" page of your course website.
First, contact a student in your course to get the lecture notes. Then, book an appointment with me as necessary.
Generally, I do not accept late assignments. However, if your situation is extraordinary, do book an appointment with me, or see me after our next class, for further discussion.
Please refer to your university's Help Desk, below.
Refer to the Help Desk link for your university, below. Please remember that, as stated in your course syllabus and here, technological issues of any kind do not ordinarily absolve you from course policy.
All disability accommodations are handled through the Disabilities Office at your university; they will contact me about any accommodations. That said, do book an appointment with me, or see me after our next class, if you'd like to discuss the matter - whether or not the university has officially recognized your disability.
Use your course "Calendar" to navigate through the assignments for your course. Note that assignments are added as the semester progresses; therefore, it may take some time for an upcoming assignment that was discussed during a particular lecture to be added to the calendar. It is strongly recommended that you enable email notifications; otherwise, you should check the calendar at least once a day. Consult your university's Help Desk (see link, below) should you need to enable this feature.
Use the MLA formatting style, unless otherwise instructed. Click here for further resources.
Normally, rewrites are not allowed - you must endeavor in the editorial process as discussed throughout the course lectures. However, you should book an appointment with me ASAP because you don't want to continue making the same errors on future essays.
Most word-processors have this capability, usually executed as either a "save as" or an "export" where you would select the PDF file format. We have a walkthrough from Word to PDF.
Alternately, click here to use CloudConvert.
