About Me

Hi, I'm Ms. Mo!

I grew up in Newport Beach and as many beach city kids grew up in the water- competitively swimming and playing water polo. I have a deep rooted passion for traveling, hiking, and shopping too frequently on Amazon. I graduated with my Single Subject Science credential from CSULB, and am so excited to be back at Oak teaching 6th Grade Science for my 2nd year!

My eclectic work history and extensive background working with students allows me to encompass a teaching style geared at inspiring curiosity in my students, and supporting them in better understanding scientific practices.

I will encourage students to explore, inquire, and investigate throughout the course of the year to help them build skill sets to succeed in future endeavors. It's going to be a great year!!

Rustic Pathways

I seasonally work in student travel leading students on immersive experience trips. This past summer I split my time between New Orleans working with Habitat for Humanity and Alaska leading a camping expedition. I have also led in Nepal, Fiji, Laos, Thailand, New Zealand, and Australia!

Mira

This is my Mira dog! She's a 4 year old labradoodle :]
