Local A-CRA (Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach) Programs: brief, intensive evidence based outpatient treatment for 12-24 year olds to support substance use recovery.
Alcoholics Anonymous: Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who support each other in achieving and maintaining sobriety. There are several meetings available locally everyday.
Alanon and Alateen: Al-Anon/Alateen is for families and friends of those suffering from addiction to share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve common problems. Its program of recovery is based on the 12 steps adapted from AA. Several meetings are offered weekly in our area.
Learn to Cope: Learn To Cope is a peer-led support group for families dealing with addiction and recovery. It meets every Thursday evening at Providence Hospital.
Parent Support Group of Western Mass: This group offers peer support and information for parents of teens and adult children using drugs or alcohol. It meets every Wednesday evening at Providence Hospital.
