Summer Work

Going into AP Calculus, there are certain math skills necessary in order to be successful for the year and ultimately on the AP exam. The packet below is designed for you to review/relearn/learn those topics so that you will be ready to learn calculus. If you do not fully understand the topics in this packet, it is possible that you will get calculus problems wrong in the future not because you do not understand the calculus concept but because you do not understand the algebra or trigonometry behind it. The AP exam and course will contain material that needs to be worked through both with and without the use of a graphing calculator. The essential skills below will be noted with calculator usage or not. If it is a non-calculator skill make sure you DO NOT use the Graphing Calculator to work through the problem. Upon your return to school in September, you will be assessed within the first two weeks on the information in the packet.
