2023-24 LHS Band Schedule
Attendance policies:
Attendance is expected at all band events. Each band member is expected to do everything in their power to be at all performances. For pep band performances, each member must take all possible steps to clear their calendar so they can perform with the band, including informing their employers or families of all band responsibilities and adjusting their schedule accordingly. If it is impossible to attend a pep band performance, the student must “sign off ” on the appropriate form located outside of Mrs. Ruplinger's office by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the pep band performance. Students participating in a sport at the time of a pep band performance should make every effort to play with the band when possible, but will be excused when it is not. “Signing off” is the only way of being excused from a pep band performance. Students absent from school on the day of a pep band performance will be automatically excused.
For concerts and marching performances, students will only be excused for personal illness of the student, or extreme family emergencies. Call Mrs. Ruplinger at 269-4396, ext 186 or email at cruplinger@lomira.k12.wi.us
All members of the band are important to the band and have a responsibility to the other members to attend all performances. The more advance notice given about possible unavoidable absences, the easier for everyone. Your consideration is much appreciated.
