Generally, Nowadays Femto-cell, Pico-cell based cellular technologies are making their marks for 5G systems. This technology not only provide a constant SNR at cell boundaries, but also effectively serves the purpose of Macro-cell in indoor scenarios like inside home, office etc... Basically it uses a single/multiple relays which either decodes and forwards the received signal (DF) which replicates the original signal and re-transmits from relay to destination or just Amplify and Forward(AF) the received signal at relay station towards the destination. By such arrangement of single/multiple relay, long haul communication/ Diversity gain can be achieved, which helps to overcome the effect of fading, at the same time it helps for devices having less no. of antenna for the same diversity order.
