We love to celebrate our mathletes in class during their exploration and discovery

October 17th - Students working in partnerships in proving whether each mathematical statement is true, sometimes true or never true while providing evidence to support their decision.

October 2nd - Learning doesn't always happen when students are seated. In this activity, students had to find their trio partner based on the math skills of prime factorization, exponents and factor string with music being played in the background!

September 17th - Students playing the product game with their partner while learning math. How often does that happen?

September 13th - In math class, students were determining whether the statement is ALWAYS true, SOMETIMES true or NEVER true. You can't prove it without providing some sort of evidence and that is what these mathematicians did.

September 10th - Our 6th grade mathematicians learning how to work in their team through cooperative learning. What productive group work looks like!
