Dr. Mahmoud Khaled is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies at the Lebanese International University.
Mahmoud Khaled was born in Chehim, Lebanon, in 1984. He received the B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese University, Lebanon, and the Applied ME in Energy from the University of Nantes, France in 2006 as a Double Degrees Program. He received then his Ph.D. degree in Energy from the University of Nantes, France in 2009. In 2021, he received his HDR (Ability to Direct Research) degree in Mechanics from the University of Angers
In 2009, he joined the Laboratory of Heat and Energy Transfer in Nantes, France as a Lecturer. Since October 2010, he has been working in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Lebanese International University, where he was Assistant Professor, became Associate Professor in 2016 and he is currently Professor and Director of Research and Graduate Studies. Mahmoud Khaled's teaching activities are concentrated in the field of Thermo-Fluids, particularly Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Internal Combustion Engine, and Heating and Air Conditioning. His current research interests include aerothermal management under the hood, renewable energy and energy management, as well as the modeling and control of heat exchangers. Dr. Khaled has published over 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and served as a reviewer for over 50 international journals.
