Classroom Rules -
The Three R's!
Be ready and prepared to learn! This includes being on time, with all books, supplies, and assignments needed for the day.
Be respectful and polite! Always be respectful to your teachers and school staff, other students, and yourself. To be respected, you must show respect! Always be respectful to other people’s things, our classroom, and our building. Always be polite by raising your hand in class, waiting your turn, and minding your manners. This includes the classroom, the hallways, the gym, the playground, etc.
Be responsible and follow classroom and school policies and procedures. These will be gone over and practiced. It is your responsibility to remember them.
*These rules go more in depth in the class syllabus.*
Grading Policy:
Tests: 35%
Quizzes/Assessments: 35%
Homework/Classwork: 30%
“I didn’t get it” is never an excuse for not having homework done!
Homework assignments for the week will be posted, along with any scheduled test, quizzes, or reports due that week (this webpage will be updated by Monday afternoon
of each week).
When students are absent, it is their responsibility to find out what they missed. According to the school handbook, you have 1 day for each day absent, plus one additional day to make up missed work.
Required Materials
Students are required to bring pencils, paper, and loose leaf paper to class daily. A three ring binder will be required to keep lab/activity books and any other papers or handouts together. Failure to bring materials to class will result in conduct points. At various times throughout the year, additional materials may be required for projects, presentations, and labs. Students will be given ample time to gather these materials.
