The Lexington High School Science Department sponsors the LHS Science and Engineering Fair each year. The 2026 fair will take place on Tuesday, February 10th in Commons 2. Judging will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the fair will open to the public (family and friends) at 7:00 p.m. Students who do well in LHS fair are invited to present their projects at the Region IV Science Fair held in Eastern Massachusetts in early March. Top scorers from the Region IV Science Fair are invited to participate in the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair at MIT in May.
All students must participate in the LHS Science & Engineering Fair to be able to participate in the state or regional fair.
