Checking Out Materials
First grade students may check out one book at a time, and second through fourth grade students may check out two books at a time. More books are allowed with a teacher’s permission. All books can be checked out for four weeks with the option to renew as needed. Staff members may check out as many materials as needed. All materials are due back to the library by the end of the school year.
Overdue, Lost, or Damaged Materials
Every quarter, the library staff will send out notices of overdue and/or lost materials for students. If a student has lost or damaged an item that belongs to the library, the student will receive a notice with the cost of the item to be replaced. Students may still continue to check out materials even if there is an outstanding fine unless otherwise agreed upon by the library staff, classroom teacher, and/or the student's parent or guardian.
