Officer Elections
Hello Student Council officer candidate, thank you for your interest in becoming an officer in one of the largest organizations at The Ridge! As an officer of Student Council, you are considered to be one of the leaders on campus. Don't hesitate to complete an application and campaign for an officer position-- there is a role for everyone! You do NOT need to be a current member of Student Council to run for office unless you are running for President and Vice President. Bottom of this page includes the application, information sheet, and list of officer roles and responsibilities. Included below is also a timeline of deadlines that need to be met in the election process.
Important DUE Dates:
February 6, 2024 Student Council Officer Elections Process Begins: Application HERE
February 19, 2024: Applications DUE
February 20, 2024: Mandatory Officer Candidates Information Meeting during Ranger Time (use Student
Council Committee in the portal)
Feb 19, 2024: You must sign up for an interview posted in the StuCo Google Classroom as part of
your application "turn-in." Make sure you read all information in Google Classroom and
the sign-up for how the interview will be conducted.
Feb 22-Mar 8 Officer Campaigning begins. You must get your posters approved/stamped by the front
office!
Feb 28, 2024 Video speeches from VP and President Candidates MUST BE SUBMITTED to the Google
Classroom post.
Feb 27, 2024 Candidate Interviews: (all interviews will be done via zoom & you should have already
signed up)
Feb 27, 2024 Ballot proofing (at interview) to make sure the ballot is correct
Mar 7, 2024 Voting for P, VP, Sec, Treas (if do not win & change intention on council seat notify Mrs.
Pape by Mar 7)

Mar 21, 2024 TAKE DOWN YOUR CAMPAIGN Posters before you leave for Spring Break!!!!!!!
Mar 25, 2024 RT Selection of Council Seats (portal to Student Council Officer Meeting) -- must be
present OR if not in school, send Pape your order of preference
