Hello!   Welcome to The Ridge!

I am the Team Lead for Special Education here at Vista.    I love my job and being able to support our teachers and positively impact student lives every day.   One of my favorite parts of my job is connecting with parents and students.  If you have any questions or there is anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to reach out!

I've been the Team Lead here at Vista since 2017.  Before coming to Vista, I was the Team Lead for two years at Stiles Middle School, and before that I was a Special Education teacher for twelve years.  Nine of those years teaching were spent at Leander High School where I taught in the behavior program and in resource math.

I have my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University and a master's degree in Special Education from UT Austin.

When I'm not here at Vista, you can find me relaxing with my husband, Brian, and our Cocker Spaniel, Maggie.

My goal is for each student to feel welcome and valued at school, and for each student to graduate ready to further their education or start a career in their area of interest.   I take a lot of pride in our Special Education services here at Vista, where we truly are preparing students to be the best for the world!
