WELCOME ESL VIPERS
I am so delighted and looking forward to" travel around the world" in our classroom as all of you will share your cultural background while learning English as A Second Language. Room 2210 is not just an ESL room but it a place where we build our ESL families by sharing our stories and getting to know one another. Its your home away from home . I really encourage oral participation by my student and reminded them not to be afraid to participate. It is totally alright to make mistakes and we are all together in this beautiful journey in acquiring English As a Second Language.
I will be doing Inclusion for English 3 and English 4 this year. I am so excited to be doing the Inclusion classes to support our ESL learners as they continue their "journey" in the learning of English As A Second Language.
The essence of my classroom expectation is: RESPECT THEMSELVES AND OTHERS, MAKING APPROPRIATE CHOICES, A SENSE OF COMMUNITY WITHIN MY CLASS AND OUTSIDE MY CLASS, HAVE A HIGHER EXPECTATION OF THEMSELVES, PERSEVERE WHEN FACED WITH CHALLENGES AND TO NEVER GIVE UP. LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS SELF-ADVOCACY TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN THEIR LEARNING.
