I am very excited to begin my 25th year of teaching.   Twenty- four of those years have been right here teaching Texas History in LISD.  I graduated from Texas Tech University with degrees in History and English. I met my husband at Tech,  and,  in our family, we are die hard Red Raider fans.  We live for  football season! My husband is my very best friend, and he coaches football here at LMS.  We have twin daughters who are graduates of LMS and and Glenn High School (how did they grow up so fast??).   We officially became empty nesters last year, as our daughters headed off to college. As you can see, the Steger family loves LMS!!  GO TIGERS! I love learning and teaching history.  I will consider the year to be a huge success if my students leave my class with a love of history!
