Here are the creature helpers students will learn and use to remember

reading strategies that help with tricky words.

Follow these steps to find a "just right" book using the 5 finger rule.

1st: Read the 2nd page of the book.

2nd: Hold up a finger for each word you missed or didn't know.

3rd: If you are holding up more than 5 fingers, try an easier book. If you are not sure, try this again on another page.
